October Scrapbook Page

  I love our time at the pumpkin patch every year. Unfortunately, the girls are getting far less interested in going, even little Madie! Can't you tell by the expression of indifference? Oh well, I'm going to keep pushing the idea and hope they go, if only for Nana and Poppy.

This is the scrapbook page for the month of October. Every month I will post the page(s) that will be featured in my clubs and classes for the month.

I used the stamp set, Autumn Harvest, and Pumpkin Pie, Ruby Red, and Old Olive cardstock with Bordering Blue for the flower accents to create this 12" x 12" page. I confess that I am in love with the little dew drops, The Robin' s Nest dew drops add a little cute and, what I like to call, "soft bling."

  Oh, these are too cute! They are actually litle boxes that hold candy in little cello bags. I saw these at a demonstrator meeting and had to try them myself. They have actually made their way around the internet for a while now and they are simply the cutest and easest little treat boxes to make. I can see me making these for the grandchildren's classes.

The papers used are green galore, pink passion, lovely lilac, basic black, and whisper white. I used the black Stampin' Write marker to make the mouth and scars.

  Ain't she sweet?

This is a picture of my middle granddaughter and only child of my youngest daughter. The title for this page suits her to a tee.

I have been going through a lot of professionally photographed pictures that are in my older albums. I love the photos but I thought that scrapping them would make them much more interesting. After finishing this page, I'm sure that I'm right and so will be working on many more.

On this page I used the stamp set Flower Fancy (#111578) and embossed the flower outline with clear embossing powder (#109130). You will see this more clearly if you open up the larger view of the photo. It doesn't show up nearly as well in this photo. Then, I used a white gel pen (#105021) to highlight the center of the embossed flowers.

Batty for You Sour Cream Containers

 

The other day I made a few of these and my dh suggested that I make 20 more. He wanted to take them into the office. I was happy to accomodate him but spent most of the afternoon doing it.

These are just so cute and easy peasy to make. I think they'd make great little gifts for school treats. They are easy enough to have a few little fingers in there helping too.

Homemade Journal

Oh my gosh! I had so much fun playing in my workshop yesterday. I had gotten this kit for the journal some time ago (non-SU! can you believe it) and had to put it together.  The bookmark and monogram I added. It just begged for one of SU!'s Lovely Letters monogram from the Lovely Letters Alphabet set. I love that set.

It was sooooo simple to put this together, I can't wait to make some more, using my beautiful SU! designer papers, of course. I just thought I'd share this with you 'cause I like it too much :)

You probably can't see clearly enough to notice I added some bling. I'm begging to feel like the Queen of Bling :) Anyway, my photography doesn't do this piece justice. It really is beautiful.
