As promised, here are the March club projects. The ladies often leave the embellishment of their scrapbook page until later. The consensus is that it would be helpful to see pics of the finished project here so that they can complete the project from home. So, here, along with the 2 other projects for March clubs, is the finished scrapbook page.
I loved using my Sizzix Big Shot to make the daisies, polka dots, and vines. Yes, I have the Cricut Impressions and earlier version of the Cricut, but I have to say that I am enjoying this even more. You'll be seeing a lot of projects where I will be utilizing my Big Shot.
The colors don't look right here. I used Glorious Green and Green Galore but it looks like I used blues. And, yes, I did use the Stampin' Up! Top Note Sizzix Die to make the topper. The funny thing about this project is that, just before last Saturday's class, my dog, Bailey, helped himself to 6 bags of the chocolate coins. (Relax animal lovers, the Vet tells me that all milk chocolate will do is make a 110 lb. Yellow Lab have the "messy business," it's the dark chocolates or baking chocolates that kill). Anyway, he had an accomplice in the theft, my cat, Noodles, likes to knock things off tables and counters so Bailey can reach it. Who knows, maybe Noodles heard that chocolate kills dogs. Talk about a cat with attitude. Here's a pic of him...doesn't he look like he would be trying to knock the big boy off?
And here, is the last of the March club projects, just in time for Easter. I actually copied the card straight from the SU! catalog. But, after last Saturday, I just couldn't take the booblahs of the first rendition so I added some bling. I stamped the background, added some stickles to the egg, white polka dots to the green circle and scalloped edge of the card, and then added 3 Dew Drops to the blue strip. Oh how I wish SU! would sell Dew Drops!
