Aren't these the cutest little purses you've ever seen! I wish I'd thought of this first, but alas, NOT! Thankfully, Mel McCarthy of Mel Stampz fame did. She is very generous about sharing the how-to's and patterns. You can find her original designs and pattern at http://melstampz.blogspot.com/2008/0...s-for-abc.html
I was looking for something to wrap my daughters Christmas gifts in when I came across these on Splitcoaststampers.com. I just thought they'd be perfect for what I needed so I went to work on making a couple for myself. I just love 'em and they are really easy to do. I'll be making more of these soon so stay tuned to some more original designs. Thanks Mel for the great pattern!

Oh, these are too cute! They are actually litle boxes that hold candy in little cello bags. I saw these at a demonstrator meeting and had to try them myself. They have actually made their way around the internet for a while now and they are simply the cutest and easest little treat boxes to make. I can see me making these for the grandchildren's classes.
The papers used are green galore, pink passion, lovely lilac, basic black, and whisper white. I used the black Stampin' Write marker to make the mouth and scars.
To purchase the materials to create these cute boxes, go to my Online shop at www.paperfriendzy.stampinup.net. If you're lucky, and in one of my stampin' clubs, you might just get a chance to make one of these for yourself. Then, you'll definitely want to go home and make a bazillion more :)
Thanks for stopping by!

The other day I made a few of these and my dh suggested that I make 20 more. He wanted to take them into the office. I was happy to accomodate him but spent most of the afternoon doing it.
These are just so cute and easy peasy to make. I think they'd make great little gifts for school treats. They are easy enough to have a few little fingers in there helping too.
I used Batty for You stamp set (#109363) and Ghostly Greetings DSP (#112463) from SU! (You can order these items at my Online Shop (www.paperfriendzy.stampinup.net).

Aren't these just the cutest little boxes? Thanks to Sherry Graves for the original pattern. I just had to try one. They were so simple that I'm pretty sure I'll be making many more.
I used Whisper White cardstock for the outside cupcake. The main box is made using Regal Rose CS.
For the cherry on top, I used Stampin' Up!'s Real Red button and red Hemp Twine. To attach the cherry, I took one of the Build-a-Brad brads and glued the button down with Crystal Effects. Oh, and we can't forget the Dazzling Diamonds glitter on top for a little sparkle.
I have two granddaughters having birthdays in March and April. I thought that at least one of them might enjoy having these for favor boxes. Well, maybe not the one turning 13, but who knows, they are cute :)
This pattern has really inspired me to try a few of my own. If they turn out as cute, you'll be seeing them here!
Thanks for looking :) and be watching...

This was fun to make, it's an Explosion Box. I was going through a bunch of old pictures from our wedding. We are getting ready to celebrate our 15th (and, yes, I did wear a black wedding dress). It must have been during the height of my creative period :)
This would also make an ideal Mother's Day or Grandmother's Day gift.
Enjoy!Posted at 10:37 AM in Boxes | Permalink | Comments (0) | TrackBack (0)
